I like Santana but really Randy is a special talent while Santana is just very good.
Santana vs. RandyFRPLG 05-02-2007, 10:47 AM I like Santana but really Randy is a special talent while Santana is just very good. gabe1984 05-02-2007, 10:49 AM Walker and WIlliams I'm sure of. Walker is a beast. Roy and Chris Chambers have the same problem: if we give Santana a pass for his QB situation look at these guys along with the lines 'protecting' them. This is a totally subjective argument. If the Broncos were like, hey Danny Boy, we want to trade you Walker for Moss. You would do that?! hesscl34 05-02-2007, 10:53 AM Jags game, in over time.... enough said. Daseal 05-02-2007, 11:01 AM Gabe, that all depends on cap hits and salaries. Javon Walker in his 3rd year in the league had nearly 1400 yards, next year he got hurt, year after in a brand new system he had 1100 with 8 TDs. Pretty damn solid. gabe1984 05-02-2007, 11:49 AM Gabe, that all depends on cap hits and salaries. With ARE running the underneath routes against slower LB's, Santana could be unstopable. But what do I know ... I just tape every single game, and review the darn things looking for reasons to keep on keepin' on. :) GridIron26 05-02-2007, 12:03 PM I think Randy Moss is the overall better player than Santana, I think we'll see what Randy has left in NE. If it's truly gone or just part of being part of an anemic offense. I like Santana, last year he proved a lot to me, but I still think he's at the bottom 10 or maybe even 15 receivers in the NFL. DUDE! What games were you watching?? SM is in top 5! skinsfan_nn 05-02-2007, 12:12 PM It's real simple, quiter or winner? Santana! GTripp0012 05-02-2007, 12:13 PM There's only one receiver in the entire NFL that I would take over S. Moss; Steve Smith. And even then I feel like I'm splitting hairs.12th man, I completely agree, even if no one else does. Run after the catch ability is so vital to the value of any given receiver. If I had to guess, I would say that 2/3's of a guys value is determined by his ability to make plays after the catch. No one is better in this respect than Smith and Moss. Not even Randy Moss. But hey, if it happens, more power to us. |
