I guess my boy Khary campbell could be heading out the door if Sartz and Blades make the team. I would have preferred that we addressed our O-line in those late rounds.

I think we'll address the O and D line depth with the undrafted rookie FAs....

Yeah but O-line can't play special teams. Blades and Sartz should be instant performers on Special Teams for us.

Yeah but Khary campbell's middle name is "Special Teams"

And while H.B. Blades might be a cool name. A cooler name is LB Anthony Trucks

"And H.B. Blades going in the fifth? The Redskins stole him. Just stole him."

I think a few years from now we will all be pretty happy with this pick. The guy is going to be a playa if he can avoid the injury.

I would have preferred that we addressed our O-line in those late rounds.I wonder how many LBs we are going to take into the season. If we take 6, Campbell might get the boot. But if we keep 7, then he can stick around and continue to be valuable on special teams.

I like the use of the late rounders on linebackers. Thats where the value was and its one of the few positions that you can get starting caliber players on day 2. We have a plethora of average defensive linemen, what we needed to do was add a young stud to that group (still a need). Adding 2-3 late rounders would have done nothing. My beef is with the first round pick.

I wanted Speath, but he went early, so we got incredible value on Tyler Ecker. If his potential is the next Robert Royal, I'm OK with that.

BEST EXAMPLE OF AN OWNER LEARNING HOW TO OWN: Washington's Dan Snyder refusing to mortgage the future and trade every pick of value in 2008, which is what he'd have had to do to get Calvin Johnson from the Lions. Smart. And LaRon Landry was the top defensive player on Washington's draft board.

And H.B. Blades going in the fifth? The Redskins stole him. Just stole him.

You missed the top point by PK about the draft. It seems like the media views Snyder as a kid who didnt eat all the candy for once lol

a. Why didn't Washington trade up to get Calvin Johnson? "LaRon Landry was the best defensive player on our board,'' owner Dan Snyder told me. "We're a lot better team with him today.'' And the Redskins didn't have to touch the 2008 draft. That took some discipline right there

This post was actually referring to Sartz rather Blades.
