We will likely see 05 production out of him...but not a whole lot more.
I think 60-70 receptions, 1000-1100 yards, and 7-9 tds. The NE system is not going to change just cause Moss is there.
Only time will tell, but I have a feeling that this is going to be his resurection season putting him back on the HOF pace he left off at in Minn before he got hurt.

I agree. And not because Moss lacks the ability to be a top 5 wideout. I believe he still has the tools to be just that. But no one in that system catches 100 balls or gets 1500 yds. Especially since they also have Stallworth, Welker, Watson, and a slew of other solid pass catchers, not to mention a QB who's favorite WR is whoever is open. I think NE would be THRILLED to get 60-70 cathces, 1000 yds and 7 or 8 TDs outta Moss.

Especially for a 4th rounder!!!!

Angryssg...honestly...what makes you think he can pull that off when no one before him could in that system? There have been some to pull off high reception numbers, but excluding Brady's first year (01) no one really did anything...here are the leaders per year.
01- Brown 101 rec. 1199 yards, 5 tds.
02- Brown 97 rec. 890 yards, 3 tds.
03- Branch 57 rec. 803 yards, 3 tds.
04- Givens 56 rec. 874 yards, 3 tds.
05- Branch 78 rec. 998 yards, 5 tds.
06- Caldwell 61 rec. 760 yards, 4 tds.

Only Brown in Brady's first year reached 1000+ yards in that system...that's it...in 6 years, only 1 guy. The 101 and 97 receptions are impressive in 01 and 02, but the past 4 years, the average is only 63 receptions for the leader.

haha...even so, they are not going to change the way they play the game for anyone...not moss, not even Jerry Rice in his prime. I would be absolutely shocked to see him achieve those lofty Minnesota numbers with in New England.

I do not see why not, he did it along side of Chris Carter.

Anyone who understands football can see what a ridiculous addition Randy Moss is to the Patriots. Brady is the motherboard and everyone else just plugs into his offense. I also see a similarity between Moss's personality and a certain running back before New England. Character and ego's fade when you win AND play for Belichick.

Skins fan 'till I die but right now New England looks nice for the Lombardi. Hats off to their FO.

again, a totally different system. How can you explain Brady's very nice passing stats over the past 4 years, but the fact that no one stood out as a WR?
03- 3620 yards
04- 3692 yards
05- 4110 yards
06- 3529 yards

He threw for well over 4000 yards in 05 and STILL didn't produce a 1000+ yard WR.

This is my last arguement on this topic before I pull the ol wait and see trick. Brady always throws to the open receiver. Randy Moss is always open. End of discussion put away the stats I'm done you win.
