While he is probably more physically gifted than those other Safeties, it will all depend on how quickly he picks up the mental part of the defense.

It would only be over kill if they paid alot of money or gave up alot (draft picks) to get these players. They did neither. They really thought this through and made some shrewd moves. I am very impressed by them. Their defense is loaded and now their offense is as well.This is true.

It's overkill from the talent perspective, but there is nothing wrong with that if you are paying your talent much less than market value. In this case, it can be argued that the Pats aren't really investing too much in their offensive skill positions despite the vast spread of talent.

i know hopefully one will always be back in coverage and when both of them are back there look out we are going to see a lot of people on jacked up this year
