So what you're telling me is...MTK 04-29-2007, 07:43 PM I don't see a switch to a 3-4 coming. These LBs taken today will be depth and special teams. RobH4413 04-29-2007, 07:46 PM Um, I dont know about all that Rob What reason do we have to believe that they're hurt beyond reasonable repair. We've already added Fletcher, and drafted some guys for depth. I'm not seeing any red flags from this. I'm not saying we are changing to a 3-4, I'm saying if there's something to be said about chasing after LB's, it's probably from a scheme change as opposed to injury. Just my humble little opinion. hooskins 04-29-2007, 07:53 PM I know its your opinion, and its cool. I just assumed the LB move was for depth and Special Teams. Daseal 04-29-2007, 07:57 PM We're probably hoping one of these two guys work out for us to replace Fletcher when he can't continue. RobH4413 04-29-2007, 07:57 PM I know its your opinion, and its cool. I just assumed the LB move was for depth and Special Teams. Right on. Your probably right. I'm curious to why many believe our LB's were injured. Making sure there wasn't something I didn't know. hooskins 04-29-2007, 07:58 PM We're probably hoping one of these two guys work out for us to replace Fletcher when he can't continue. There is truth to this too. Also if I am not mistaken some say Marcus Washington will be cut in a couple years bc his contract gets crazy. Hey thinking about the future for once might not be a bad idear. NFLeurope 04-29-2007, 08:00 PM Im not arguing against the point anybody was trying to make...but just to let you guys know, Lemar Marshall just turned 30 in December. Therefore, he is not 32, and still should have several decent years left before he starts to decline as a result of age...if he is able to bounce back from last year artmonkforhallofamein07 04-29-2007, 08:10 PM So now that the draft is over do you think we are going to try and trade for Briggs again? Maybe giving away some of next years draft since we have all these draft picks now? Redskins_P 04-29-2007, 08:15 PM How about giving the FO some credit for not giving up any of next years picks? Its not like this year was the ONLY year to pick up a d-lineman..... EXoffender 04-29-2007, 08:27 PM I don't think we're going to be as weak at LB as everyone thinks. I like this Dallas Sartz kid...not so high on the kid from Pitt though.I think Blades will be the better pro. He doesn't have the size (and that always doesn't matter) but, he's in good hands learning by another vertically challenged MLB, Fletcher. |
