LOL what a joke we gave up a 3rd and a 4th for that ***** Lloyd.New England gets Randy Moss for a 4th and thats it.What a ****ing joke.:argue:That's pretty much exactly why you dont trade mid round picks for replacement level receivers.
I guess our FO is going to prove that point experimentally. Ah well, better late than never.

After hearing rumors that Moss has lost a step, I am curious to see if that physical will include the 40 yard time. Does he still have it or not???
Adam S. also reported that Moss is training in Fla. and recently ran a 4.35.

What happened to Chad Jackson?
He tore his ACL in the AFC Championship game. His rehab is on schedule be he still won't be ready until mid-season.
Man, Brady has some weapons now. That offense is gonna be absurd. Moss, Stallworth, Welker, Watson, Maroney... yikes. They are gonna be scary good. And we have to play them IN Foxboro.

I think this is a good move for both NE and Moss. I expect Moss to step it up with the Patriots.

ESPN (mort) JUST said they verified his 40 time.......4.29....he lost a baby step.
Yeah, a 4.29 would have tied him with the fastest 40 time at this years combine, and would have been tops among any of the WRs. Hey, if it doesn't workout they only lose a 4th rounder. If it does, man oh man. I don't think Moss will be a locker room problem. Those are close-knit guys. He's never been in a locker room with that much character and discipline. Belichick and Co. will not let him screw around with that. Mark my words, this works out well for the Pats, even if it's only for a season or two.

And then when they hit a tough stretch and lose a few games, he stops playing.
A 4th rounder is not a bad price to pay, but Moss is not someone who will make the Pats better for very long.
I agree, if Randy Moss is your leader then he may quit. But in NE with that coaching staff and veteran core plus Moss' own desire to win a championship. It's a no-brainer and it makes what we paid for Lloyd seem like a king's ransom, considering Lloyd is about 1/3 the receiver that Moss is and that's being generous.
I agree, Moss is not someone who will make the Pats better for very long. He's someone who will make the Patriots MUCH better for as long as he suits up. He's still an elite receiver and now playing with one of the 2 best qbs in the league, it's almost unfair.
