Can I get an avatar with the Dynamic Duo?
It's LaRon Landry!EXoffender 04-28-2007, 06:31 PM Can I get an avatar with the Dynamic Duo? budw38 04-28-2007, 06:38 PM I agree with this--GW knows what his type of D needs. Plus, if there isn't a great D-lineman on the board, you've got to take the best player. Our FO rated Landry the top. Maybe someone should tell G, Williams ,, " if his front four could generate a pass rush , his blitzing would be much more effective . Landry is a great player , but they should make a deal and grab a pass rusher . I look forward to seeing Mr. Landry knocking the shit out of Eli and Romo - homo !!! 5RINGS 04-28-2007, 06:49 PM Now you guys have the FS that will tell Taylor where he needs to be like Clark used to . Taylor will be around the LOS much more this year, as he isn't the ball hawk that Landry is. Make no mistake about Landry, you now have the Best safety tandem in professional Football. Make no mistake about Landry, you now have the Best safety tandem in professional Football. After all the wheelin' and dealin', are you sastified with drafting Purdue DE Anthony Spencer in the first round? Somehow, I wouldn't be questioning this pick if Parcells was still a part of the process. EternalEnigma21 04-28-2007, 07:19 PM I bet Pastabelly will be sick after writing such a great review about a redskin... ESPN.com - NFL/DRAFT07 - Pasquarelli: This year, teams are thinking safety first (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft07/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=2847400) SkinsFanSince91 04-28-2007, 07:25 PM I've said it for a while, that we needed to take LaRon Landry! He can play immediately!! Check my past threads....I told you so Kinda mad we didnt get CJ though. Now we need to get some more picks so we arent sitting on our frickin hands until tomorrow!!! GoSkins! 04-28-2007, 08:04 PM This will give Williams so much flexibility on defense it should be sick. Now we have a guy who can be trusted in coverage while Taylor roams the field. Also, this guy can lay the wood when Taylor drops into coverage and he is asked to play up in the box. Finally, we will be able to disguise coverages and blitzes again. GridIron26 04-28-2007, 08:53 PM Looks like we don't need to worry about D-line much anymore, since Gibbs said that Blache and Gregg are satisfied with Golston and Montgoemry.. Guess they developed well through out the off season or something.. djnemo65 04-28-2007, 08:57 PM Put me down for this....Landry will go to the hall of fame and this will be remembered as the single greatest draft pick in the history of sports, surpassing Jordan at 3 to the Bulls. wolfeskins 04-28-2007, 08:57 PM i like the pick. i was at fedex today and during gibbs speech he was asked about the d-line. gibbs said he was pretty happy with daniels coming back healthy, carter coming on strong at the end of last season and washington and mcCintosh both being good pass rushers. he also mentioned possibly picking up some d-line help on day two of the draft. he mentioned golsten and montgomery both being day two picks and both making the team. |
