If it is not yours it is probably for the best. But if it is yours it is not the end of the world! I am 34 yrs old and knew some girls who got pregnant in high school and all everybody talked about is how they totally ****ed their life up. But what it seemed to do is make them become more responsible quicker as the rest of us proceeded to party away our 20's and not get anywhere. Now, my youngest kid is 3 yrs old so I will be 50 yrs old when she graduates high school. I look at some of my friends who started young and their kids are already 15/16 yrs old! In a couple of years they will be done (if u r ever really done) and still relatively young.
Another thing I wanted to relate to you is that I got my wife pregnant when we had only known each other for 6 weeks! and it was a long distance relationship at that....we were seeing each other only on the weekends so at that point we hardly knew each other. I was freaking out! But i look back now and know it was the best thing that ever happened to me. We have been together for over 7 years and he hardly even ever argue. I was a drunken bar hound when we met experimenting with all sorts of unhealthy substances. I had just had a DUI, my credit was ****ed up and i had absolutely no direction in my life whatsoever. Now, I make a good income, own a nice house and vehicles, have a beautiful family and I am loving life! It basically made me get my ass in gear.
Having kids is a blast, too! You will learn a whole new definition of the word love. Things like Christmas, Easter, Halloween, vacations, etc... are once again exciting. It helps you recapture some of the child like enthusiasm when you watch your children experience things for the first time ( I am taking my oldest to her first Skins game this year!)
I know things could have very easily not worked out so well for me but i still wanted to relate this to you so you understand that a lot of good can come of this also (hopefully, you didn't knock up a crazy bitch cause that could get ugly). The most important thing is that if it is yours you need to step up to the plate and be a man about it! Do the right thing!
