Another Landry thread

The more I think about it, this is the player we should take no question. Here are my top Five reasons

1. He is going to be the best defensive player in the draft
2. Gibbs loves Golston and Montgomery and says they have bulked up and are really impressing in the offseason (yesterday at the draft meeting)
3. Him next to S. Taylor would be amazing to watch and make our secondary really good for a long time.
4. No DE is worth the sixth pick
5. Although A. Okoye will be really good I just think Landry will be better for our team.

All this in mind, the best option is to trade down, but in reality it most likely won't happen and we will pick at 6th.

We keep saying we need this youth injection along the line, but what about the safeties as well? We can't count on anyone besides Taylor back there really.

Why does this need to be another thread?

we need someone smart and less flashy to play along with taylor...i don't think the LSU safety fits the bill...draft the Louisville DT, he's smart, big, and could dominate.

Wrong forum....hmmm thread hell comes to mind.

1. Possibly, but not definite
2. I like Golston and I'm sure he and Montgomery are getting better but we need more depth
3. Or it could be agonizing with both players making the same mistakes. More importantly, will Landry invite Taylor over for dinner and to play X Box?

In that case the Redskins, among the most aggressive teams in pursuing trades and free agents, likely would turn to those methods to bolster the defensive line before the start of training camp (from the Article)
