KLHJ2 04-24-2007, 12:37 AM Im actually having a huge draft day party. I got 12 thick ribeyes, 24 burgers, 2 packages of hotdogs, and 4 cases of beer. Gonna have a huge cook out and get piss drunk before the Skins pick at 6! haha. I'm expecting about 24 people over!
I already said it on another thread, but I am spending Saturday morning on the Golf Course. By the time I get home I will find out who we picked. I will continue my drinking from the course then. I'll probably shoot a 40 something on the front nine and will not be able to pick up a club by the 13th hole ending with a 140 something through 18 holes.
jsarno 04-24-2007, 12:59 AM Haha. Save me a burger, a hotdog, and about 12 beers! :)
You're more than welcome to stop by! The more skins fans the merrier. I will warn you, there will be a lot of Cowboys fans (unfortunately I live in Cowboy country) a couple steelers fans, a couple 49ers fans, a couple broncos fans, a raider fan, and a few Skins fans.
I predict I will be passed out by pick 11. haha.
KLHJ2 04-24-2007, 01:13 AM Jsarno, how much is a flight to NM? I just might have to change my plans.
TenandSix:Unacceptable 04-24-2007, 02:39 AM I just plan on having some Foi Gras and caviar on my yacht.
TenandSix:Unacceptable 04-24-2007, 02:40 AM Just kidding.
I'll probably just vomit french fries through my nose down here in Argentina.
GMScud 04-24-2007, 03:36 AM Now that's what I'm talking about. I'll be drunk as a skunk on Saturday. I plan on cracking my first beer while monitoring the grill (I'm the host, so I guess it's my responsibility). I live in Titletown (Gainesville, Fl), so I'll be hosting a group of random fans (Steelers, Eagles, Cowboys, and various others), most of whom just want to see Gators get picked as early as possible. I'll be checking in throughout the day... Damn it I can't wait for Saturday.

I don't like to grill at party's anymore. You seem to miss the party when your behind the grill.
offiss 04-24-2007, 05:20 AM I wouldn't think on that one to much. Quinn will be long gone by the #6 spot in the draft.
Sounds like you have an insight that the rest of the football world is not privy to know?
There's 5 picks before us how long gone could he possibly be?

SHHHH! He is still counting. We don't want him to hurt himself.

It's about $300, but I live in the Southeast corner of New Mexico...there is no airport (large one) here. You have to travel to El Paso (2 hours and 15 minutes away), or Lubbock (2 hours and 40 minutes away) or Midland (2 hours and 10 minutes away). Albuquerque is, depending on your speed, 4 to 5 hours away. I have made it from Albuquerque to Carlsbad in 3 hours and 5 minutes..I was doing approximately 110-115mph. I know people from the East Coast can't fathem this, but there is seriously nothing as far as the eye can see on a lot of these roads. If you crashed at any time of day, it is VERY likely that no one would ever know. I seriously live in the middle of no where.
I really hate this place...especially since I am from Boston, and my wife is from North of Dallas, we like the city life. We have about 2 more years left here then we can move.
