I am watching WSLS News out of Roanoke, VA. They have just reported it a few minutes ago.

I'm guessing he didn't walk across campus with a gun in his hand. It's pretty cold up there so he could have tucked it into his shirt or jacket and kept his head down. Not too many alert college kids, or people in general, walking around campus at 7:30 in the morning.

I have been in a meeting all morning and just got news of this - It's horrific. My hearts go out to all the parents sitting at home wondering if their child is okay - the thought of losing a child and the consequent pain is almost unimaginable to me, and that which I can imagine seems unbearable.
My prayers are with all those affected by this horrible act.
