So this is my new annual thread that I will create weekly or monthly(depending on my laziness). It is called "Be Bold". It is a quick and easy thread that will hopefully have a poll in the near future.

The object of the thread is to make a rational but bold prediction between two options. The first annual thread will be the projected record in 2007 barring injury to starters. It is always sexy and easy to pick 8-8 and around there. We will not pick that, but instead we will BE BOLD.

The Washington Redskins will go either:

A)6-10 and lower
OR
B)10-6 and higher

Answer below. Be Bold.

For the first time in Cap history we did not win the offseason free agent Superbowl. Our pieces must be in place. 12-4

I'm gonna say 9-7 to 10-6. Not gonna win the division, but the Wild Card is a definite possibility.

You aren't being bold. I also predict 9-7 as the realistic one, but the whole point of this exercise is to pick an extreme that is rational.

By the way my pick is 6-10 and below. I just feel there is a better chance that we will lose big than win big.

Seeing that this is offseason this is suppose to be more of a game/exercise, so don't think you are making a specific record prediction. It is about thinking about the two choosing and picking one, even if you it might not be your answer if you were not constrained.

Okay. You want bold? I'm saying the schedule is a little soft. I'm gonna go with 12 wins. Losses to everyone in the division once and the Pats. They get everybody else.

6-10 lol. If we don't fix our defensive line problem it won't matter if we had All-Pro's at every position in the secondary, we'd still suck on defense. That and we still don't know if Jason Campbell will go back or forward this season.
