Interesting mock draftBig C 04-16-2007, 12:31 AM Whattup B. yo SkinEmAll 04-16-2007, 12:41 AM I kinda like that possibility. I think it would be a great trade, if it went down like that. And I dont think it is so unlikely, with the way the pats have been a little out of character this off season in free agency and the fact that ANYTHING is possible come draft day. hooskins 04-16-2007, 12:44 AM yo How does Tech feel? And why are you hiding your little green light indicator? I am not stalking you, I promise. KLHJ2 04-16-2007, 12:49 AM We are going to have to pick at number 6 how about that. No one will trade with us, and we will have no more first day picks. I hope that there are a bunch of diamonds in the 2nd day rough. Big C 04-16-2007, 01:04 AM How does Tech feel? BeastsoftheNFCeast 04-16-2007, 01:19 AM I think that its a common misconception that the pats are way out of character this season. They have a ton of draft picks to build for the future, which is what they do. They didnt give any picks away. The signings that they made were not all as big as youd think, with the amount of space that the pats had under the cap, they could have spent alot more, and the signing bonuses on a number of the "large contracts" were tiny. I think Stallworth got a 3 mil bonus to a 30mil contract or something like that. They actually didnt spend as much money as you would think. Big C 04-16-2007, 01:21 AM a real O.G. what is o.g.? hooskins 04-16-2007, 01:27 AM what is o.g.? Original Gangster son... you gotta urbdic that junx. Urban Dictionary: Define Your World (http://www.urbandictionary.com) it is a dictionary for slang, check it out and search OG. offiss 04-16-2007, 03:55 AM stupid???...we pick up an extra pick and end up with two players that fill needs Stupid for who we would take at those spots. Everyone thinks all you have to do is draft a player at a position of need and you have filled that need, not so! Take a look at last off season, and we still have a need for a pass rusher, and a safety, why? Draft the best available player, we have so many holes to fill because of our stupidity, it would be just like us to trade down get 2 players who are average at best, and the Pats walk away with a perenial pro-bowler. The question must be asked, if the Pats are indeed willing to make this trade, why? Why not keep the picks and draft these players themselves? The one team that has proven to may be the best team in the NFL at spotting talent, is willing to give up 2 #1 picks to draft Landry, why? |
