Why are we giving Gibbs a pass?

Gibbs had been away from the NFL for how long? He's trying to rebuild the organization, not just coach. That takes time, and I will gladly give him the full 5 years of his contract to get this team back into contention. He has done everything that a lot of fans have screamed for.. putting in Campbell, getting an offensive coordinator, getting this team back into the playoffs in his second year...it takes time to build a solid team and Gibbs, as smart as he is, is still trying to figure it out. I'd rather it be him doing it than some unproven coach.

Haha, yeah, but I like to think that somewhere Gibbs is reading this on his trio and thinking thats the spirit skinsfan.

But for me I just get sick of posts like this. Not that I disagree with it, but we all know what the problems with this team are and have been. The Post's reporting last year was, in my opinion, excellent in diagnosing exactly what went wrong.

So I just get tired of having to read someone's manifesto every other day rehashing these same arguments.

And that brings me to my final point - if you want to write the latest such manifesto, fine, but dont title it why are we giving gibbs a pass when he gets ripped to shreds on this site basically every day. That is ridiculous.
