So are they saying Hester is the fastest player in NFL history? I don't think that's true.

I don't look at it as being perfect. I would just say that in comparrison to other players in pads maneuvering the field he is the fastest. With that being said, the strongest player should have 100 strenght, Peyton Manning should have 100 Awareness, and so on and soforth. Every other players attributes by category should be curved off of the one who is the best at that particular attribute. For Instance, if Devin Hester is 100 speed, then hypothetically Deangelo Hall should be 99.

Meanwhile, Jason Campbell will earn a 100 in the new "Probably Misplaced Hope of Rabid Fanbase" rating, Ladell Betts gets a 100 in "Inability to Read Marketplace Before Leaving Free Agency", and Adam Archuletta scores 100 in "Inexplicably Still Has Fans After Jailraping Salary Cap."

Man you know its the offseason when headlines like this show up. By the way EA Sports doesn't seem to realize that being the cover athlete on Madden is a career killer. Personally I would like to see Romo, Owens, or Westbrook on the cover. Better yet put Madden on the cover.

Those who've appeared on the Madden cover form an exclusive club.

I think they should leave him a '99' incase someone else comes into the league and is faster...which is definitely possible.

I bet Darrell Green was faster.

This is nothing more than a marketing ploy to attract attention and get people to "upgrade" to 2008.

I believe Madden was on the cover for several years.

I don't believe in curses, or superstitions, but I wouldn't want to be on the cover.
