Just wondering if anyone here watches playoff hockey? I know that I will be this year. I really dont follow hockey during the reagular season, or at all for that matter, unless the PENS make the post season.

What is this hockey you speak of?

I watched hockey once. It was a game that had these dudes from a small town in Alaska play these other dudes from New York. Russell Crowe was the captain and Burt Reynolds was the coach.

Hockey playoffs are awesome, but I haven't followed the NHL (I banned it after breaking up with my Canadian girlfriend :) ) in over a year so I doubt I'll be watching much.

It's kind of ironic, but hockey is really popular here in the Tampa area. The lightning are pretty darn good, and I enjoy watching. However, I'm a Caps fan. I went to a game the other day (my first, TPA vs. WAS), and the Caps got their asses handed to them. It was still fun, though.

I'll be watching some of the playoffs, but not real closely. There is a high likelihood that I'll see several games while out at the bars, until Tampa is knocked out.

Combine how well the Lightning have done with the fact that all the Snow Birds from the North (Canada included) migrate to Florida for the winter, and it really is no surprise how Tampa has caught on as a "Hockey Town".

Yeah, Uncle Teddy Email needs to open his purse strings and make the Caps a contender now. Or, he'll be faced with having to sell the team because of lack of support.

I'll be following the playoffs...not closely, but I'll read about it.

I usually watch one playoff hockey game on TV every 3-4 years, and generally enjoy it. However, this is one of my off years.

So this is a sport played right here in the US? Never knew that.
