On Comcast in Richmond City. I just turned it over to one of the 2 new sports channels MASN which is channel 43 here.(MASN2 is 19) The info says The John Riggins show but currently The Anita Marks show is on. I think this show might be on because they are a local Baltimore sports talk station and there is a O's game tonight. I know that Comcast set up these channels to make sure the market can see both the O's and Nats, but had no idea that Riggo's show would be on. Has anyone else seen the Diesel on tv yet? I hope its not a typo.

Thanks, that answers my question:
MASN, in conjunction with Red Zebra Broadcasting, is proud to add The John Riggins Show to its family of sports programming. Beginning in April, MASN will televise simulcasts of the Riggins radio show, which is regularly heard on the Triple X ESPN/Redskins Radio Network.
Legendary Washington Redskins running back John Riggins brings his unique and famously outspoken personality to afternoons in Washington.
"Riggo" will provide insight into the minds of professional sports athletes and tell D.C. sports fans the truth, even if it hurts.
Look for The John Riggins Show to air starting April 2007.

Watching a radio show on television is more entertaining than watching one of those 3:00 AM infomercials on how to clean out your filthy bathtubs or the snow on the screen when a station is off the air.
But it's not a whole lot more entertaining...
I did a radio program in college for a year; let's just say there isn't a lot of activity going on in the studio such that video coverage matters. Basically, you sit in front of a microphone and talk...

I'm curious how they're going to pull off televising Riggins' radio show. Riggo lives in NYC, and the other guys on the show live in DC. During the season, the DC guys would do the show from the DC radio station, and Riggo had a setup in NYC so he could interact in real time with they DC guys, and the show ran pretty seamlessly.
Riggo would only do the show from the DC studio on Thursdays and Fridays, because he was in town to do George Michaels Redskins show and his other skins related stuff. Since the season is over, he's only in the DC studio periodically. I wonder if he's moving back to the area or something.

I would try watching it. I watch Mike & Mike on espn2 and I am generally more interested in their perspective than I am with Sportscenter's usual boo ya stuff. At least they have opinions and discussions, and not just one-liners. That stuff used to be cool to me for the first few years, but not so much anymore.
