Not long ago I turned twenty four. Three weeks ago I got a chicken pox vaccination seeing as how I've never had them before I figured it was safe. Now I have a moderate case of the chicken pox, I'm practically quarantined for at least a week, and even the doctor at the CDC had only heard of a few cases. (Too got an even milder case than what I have it's a 1 - 1000 chance.

Anyhow, I'm pissed with all the extremely strange diseases I seem to get. F... STRANGE DISEASES.

Your better off to have them now when your young as they can become more dangerous the older you get.

Ditto. This Friday will mark two straight MONTHS that I've had a fever every friggin day. It started after a Superbowl party I went to, with a bunch of college kids(statistically the sickest age group in the country, outside of the elderly) from different schools. I got a bit drunk, and I may have taken a drink of some beers that weren't mine.

The next day I wake up with what I assume is a wicked hangover. It hangs around for a few days and I realize I'm sick. It feels like the flu; fevers, chills, fatigue, etc. Fast foward to now. Most of the symptoms are gone, except mild fevers and body aches. I've seen four doctors who've tested me for every godforsaken disease in the book, and the only theory I've been given is that I have "some local bug, that'll probably go away by itself". And I'm like, "Well why haven't I met anybody else who's had fevers for two solid months that isn't dead?"

Anyway, I'm basically back to normal, but trying to kick the last bit of this "bug" is a bitch. F... infectious diseases.

It could be worse.

This is what you get for blaspheming Joe Gibbs.

It could actually be worse. Often, adult onset chicken pox comes out as shingles. That's about fifty times worse.

That sucks, hope you get better bud.

I sure wouldn't want to be you right now.

Especially since I'm leaving in 15 minutes to drive down to Outer banks, NC where I get to stay at my Uncles beach house in duck.

I was going to bring my surf board, but the water is going to be like 5 degrees and wet suits are so god damn expensive. I need to save up and get one.

Anyone know where to get like, used cheap wet suits for a broke 6'1'' 200lb 21 year old? PM me if you've got any ideas.

Aaaanyways, Good luck on the ole chicken pox there daseal. I'll kick a puppy or two for your speedy recovery.
