Da Bears want Marshall

Never give them Golston...it's bad enough that this trade would prevent the redskins from addressing the DL which is their biggest need...but throwing in Golston would weaken an already weak line more. At least Marshall is not needed as much with Briggs here. This whole trade idea sucks...

the thing about bringing in briggs is that we dont know how he will fit into the system greg williams has set up but we do know that marshall fits in well into that outside linebacker spot. why would we give up so much for a possible bust when we have a sure thing and rocky as well?

Totally agree. Marshall is lucky to have a use anymore with an every down middle like Fletch.....If injury...we have much better LBs to replace Marshall. He proved he is much much to small last season.
Bears know it, we know it, kudos to the bears to try and scrape something else outta this.

If you remember Marshall played very well at weakside in 04 which is his natural position. He IS NOT a middle LB. But he can play well at weakside where he filled in for Lavar in 04 on a top 5 NFL defense.

How about our joke of a FO stop chasing big name players, move Marsahall back at weakside to compete w/ Rocky and go for more pressing needs? This whole Briggs trade proposal is such a joke it's not even funny. Briggs is going to be playing behind highway 99. Let's see how good he is when he's got highway 99 being pushed back into his area. Let's see how good he is then.

Just to be sure that the adreneline doesn't wear off on this thread, how about we all start the rumor that the Skins have re-signed Sultan McCullough and they're going to throw him along with Marshall and Nemo into the trade. :FIREdevil:

After all, the only reason Sultan hasn't been in the Pro Bowl three times already is that there's a consipiracy out there to keep him off the field... :madani:

That ought to keep things cooking here for a while...
