Cool stuff. I haven't been to a Dave concert in years. Does anyone know if his newer stuff is any good? I loved his first two albums and the other stuff I've heard I didn't care for.

I've seen Dave a couple of times and realized one thing:

If your not crazy insane about DMB, then don't see him more than once.

The first show I went to was DMB with Robert Randolph and the family, and man was it awesome. I had a blast, and never realized how awesome they were live.

I went back again the next year and was bored. He played all of these songs I have never heard of, and played like 15 minute jam sessions. It was just obnoxious. I wanted to go home early.

I really liked their last two, Busted Stuff and Stand Up, but of course it's all better live.

Ya know, I can't stand it when artists refuse to play their biggest hits because they are tired of playing them and choose, instead, to play obscure crappy songs that no one knows or likes. If I go to a DMB concert, I want to hear Satellite, Crash, Song #41 (or whatever # it is), etc.

I agree, I'm not as into them as I was 10 years ago, but I still hit a couple of shows per summer. I think I've seen them 21 times now. I'm also going to see Dave and Tim at UMass next month.

They usually do play a wide selection of stuff including their hits, but they do rotate some of them in and out depending on the tour.

I saw them a little less than a year ago. It was one of the best shows I've seen. They played many of their most popular songs, as well as some new ones.

I would definitely recommend anyone to see them.
