$179.99 for your wish. It will be available. Personally I wouldn't buy the hard drive because I stream all my stuff from the PC through the xbox, no need for extra space.

the elite is nice and all but I'm gonna wait til the fall when they have the new faster, cooler, and more quiet proccesor chip set. the hdmi input and $75 hdmi cable is a nice incentive but I can wait cuz my vga cables r pretty darn nice quality as is. they also should have done the smart thing with how important x-box live is to their system and incorporate the wifi adapter into the system even if they needed to bump up the price another 20-30 bucks.

Beware, HDMI cables that cost more than $25 are a big scam. HDMI cables send digital signals. Unlike analog signals, digital signals don't degrade (http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=ps3&message.id=828972#M828972). Of course you want to make sure you don't buy poorly made cables but you shouldn't pay an arm and a leg for cables. Apple sells HDMI cables for $20 (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=DFC7D8C0&nplm=TL951LL%2FA) if you're looking for HDMI cables.
As for XBox 360 Elite, Microsoft is definitely sticking it to Sony. There's really nothing compelling about the release though. It's a nice marketing gimmick and a way to generate fresh new press converge.

Yep, you have to hand it to the boyz at M$oft this go around they are really laying the wood to the Sony crew. I love my 360, but I still think Sony will find a way to get back on top in the next year or two.
