He's had his ups & downs like anybody that evaluates talent. There are always guys that ALL the scouts agree on yet don't pan out, e.g. Desmond Howard, and there are guys that all agree on & they do pan out, e.g. Champ Bailey. He did win a super bowl as our GM in 91-92. Norv was said to have had a big hand in getting Shuler & Westbrook. Does CC deserve some blame for those years? sure, but he also had his good years. I don't think he did that bad of a job in HOuston. There are a lot of reasons they aren't that good. At the same time, I don't think he could come back to DC at this point in his career. The organization is on a different wavelength than he is, we need somebody under 50 that wants to make a name for themselves. |
