Wilson is taking a physical in New York today so a trade could be imminent.
What's frustrating is that the main reason they are trading him is because they can't really afford to keep him because of the contracts they gave out to free agents like Daniel Graham and Travis Henry. But is anyone going to say "Why can't the Broncos keep their own" "Why do they care more about paying players from other teams?"...No, all we'll hear is the same bull we get every year about how great the Denver "system" is for running backs. Blah, blah, blah

How much time off are you looking for? Five months, six months? Meriden, CT. What! You don't mess with the 203!

Let em sign Wilson, they signed a bunch of vet D players last year (didn't they get a dude from the Skins?!) & look what they did; some great games, but overall mediocre.
Wilson is also coming off a neck injury, maybe he's not the same player. I wonder if he & AP would be good together after AP has been qb'ing the D?
Let's let some other teams sign expensive vet players for a while, we've been there & done that.

How many injured linebackers are these idiots going to acquire? Who's next, Dan Morgan?
For a team that is "only about football" as Lavar said, they sure have a ton of drama. Their best player (who retired) rips the coach again on the way out. Their divorces are more interesting than their team and Shockey is going to turn his spot in the Geico ads into a sitcom.
Sounds like a winning formula to me.
