Deal 'still likely' in the works to bring QB Green to Dolphins (http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/content/sports/epaper/2007/03/21/0321dolphinsfeed.html)
Dolphins Closing In on Green For 7th Rounder (corrected)SmootSmack 03-22-2007, 12:40 AM Deal 'still likely' in the works to bring QB Green to Dolphins (http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/content/sports/epaper/2007/03/21/0321dolphinsfeed.html) MTK 03-22-2007, 12:51 AM This doesn't seem to say much for Culpepper. GTripp0012 03-22-2007, 12:51 AM This would be a great move for the Chiefs. Huard deserves to be the starter there, at least for 2007. He earned it with great play in 2006. Green can still play at a respectable level, I think. He got thrown to the fire last year after returning from the concussion, and then having to play a bunch of really tough pass defenses. I think this move would make the Dolphins the clear cut 2nd best team in that division. What an honor! Crat92 03-22-2007, 12:57 AM I guess this is Herm Edwards' way of acknowledging/making up for the mistake he made by benching Huard in favor of Green. GTripp0012 03-22-2007, 01:00 AM This doesn't seem to say much for Culpepper.Culpepper can still be better than Trent Green. I thought he was improving with every start in 2006, and then all of a sudden Joey Harrington is in. Accoring to PFR's blog (http://www.pro-football-reference.com/blog/wordpress/?p=264), Joey Harrington secured the title of "Worst QB of all-time" due to his consistent play AND inexplicible longevity. Why does this guy keep getting chances? SmootSmack 03-22-2007, 01:03 AM This would be a great move for the Chiefs. Huard deserves to be the starter there, at least for 2007. Edwards has said Croyle would get a chance to compete for the starting job, but I think it's Huard's in 2007 What is it with Dolphins and 2nd round picks for QBs? They traded a 2nd for AJ Feeley, a 2nd for Culpepper, and a 2nd now (allegedly) for Trent Green Joey Harrington may be a Toronto Argonaut next season Big C 03-22-2007, 01:03 AM 2nd rounder is too much for a 37 yr old qb SBprimetime 03-22-2007, 01:09 AM I'm pretty sure it says their 2nd 7th round pick SmootSmack 03-22-2007, 01:16 AM I'm pretty sure it says their 2nd 7th round pick Well damn. I just got pwned by a newbie. Thanks for that correction. I'll fix it in the title. Welcome to the board! SBprimetime 03-22-2007, 03:47 AM Haha sorry for the pwnage. I'm not much of a poster, but it didnt seem like anyone else was catching that blunder and that just wouldve been a disaster.:smashfrea |
