to the bears for a sixth
Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pickBeastsoftheNFCeast 03-20-2007, 07:01 PM to the bears for a sixth Dirtbag59 03-20-2007, 07:02 PM Nooooooo. (Cite your source). In all seriousness that sounds like good news for both parties. mlmpetert 03-20-2007, 07:03 PM IT was on espn last minute this just in: Arch gone to the bears for a 6th round pick RMSkins 03-20-2007, 07:04 PM Just seen this also on NFL Total Access. I wanted to keep Arch, and see if we could work out any packages, but i'll take a 6th pick for him. Gmanc711 03-20-2007, 07:05 PM 6th is about what we should have expected for him..... Worst FA Blunder maybe ever for the Washington Redskins, just a stupid ass signing with Sean Taylor already here. I honestly think Archuletta will be a impact player next season now that he's in Chicago. Dirtbag59 03-20-2007, 07:07 PM I think with Archuletta on his way out we should now take the time to consider Landry in the draft. I know it probably won't happen but we still have to look at our options. wilsowilso 03-20-2007, 07:07 PM We got robbed!!!!! I am so pissed. We could have got a 3rd rounder!! This blows!!! WHy!!!!!why!!!!WHYYYYYY!!!!!!!! Why. Dirtbag59 03-20-2007, 07:08 PM ESPN.com - NFL - Source: Redskins agree to trade Archuleta to Bears (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2806226) BeastsoftheNFCeast 03-20-2007, 07:09 PM Schefter reported that there is a possibility that this contract says that if he preforms well, the draft pick will be raised. I am happy that we delt him but I was expecting a third to fith from Lovie, he seemed like he really wanted him I also wonder how the contract was done, I think this will tell us what we are planning to do for the rest of this year and for next year. GTripp0012 03-20-2007, 07:09 PM I think it's a bad trade, but as in bad-but insignificant NOT as in bad-and very costly. I think the better move would have been to take another year and try to get some return on investment. But with Prioleau manning the secondary next year, the only thing that REALLY matters is that we get an impact player on the defensive line in this draft. And that we don't end up with Calvin Johnson. |
