He's not that bad, he's a mediocre cover guy, but he can make some plays. I wouldn't have minded him as a nickle...I would have taken him as a #2 if I was a team like the Titans. I've always liked him. He's not great, but he doesn't suck.

Yeah, I think he can adjust to play at a level where he'd be okay at the #2 corner spot. I think he'd probably be a very good nickel corner, but he was basically the #1 in Indy. I don't think he'll wanna go to #3 on the lowly Titans. I like the Titans defensive backfield right now. Jones can play a little, if he ever pulls his head outta his ass. Harper is a personal favorite (for no real reason, just like him). Hope is a beast. I'm not sure who else they have back there, but 3 outta 4 isn't too bad.

to me he will never be more than a number 2 maybe even number 3 and if people think sean taylor regressed last year look at chris hope
Big C 03-13-2007, 11:27 PM harper, 32, 33 in september, is pretty old for a corner

remind you of someone on the skins age-wise not skill wise

yes, but we signed springs when he was 28 or 29, not when he was 32. if the deal with harper isnt big then its a good move, otherwise its not IMO
Redskins_P 03-14-2007, 12:38 AM From what I hear, Harper is only good in the cover 2 scheme. Man to man, he still struggles.
