I watched this kid in the combine. Hes real young but has a crazy upside. I think this helps us out.

This could lend credence to the rumors that we may trade down with the Texans to #8.

Can somebody hit me with Okoye's listed height and weight?

I really don't know anything about this kid but I've been hoping we'd trade down to draft him and get another pick or two rather than take Adams or Anderson. Hopefully this works out.

So, I take it our list of DT/DE's to pick with either the #6 or the #8 spot is Okoye, Branch, Adams and Anderson? If all four are gone by that time (unlikely), then I guess we entertain trade offers with whoever to secure more draft picks, including a late first rounder.

Decent sounding scenario:
-Trade #6 with houston for #8 and whatever pick.
-Draft one of the above DT/DE with the #8.
-Keep "whatever pick" and trade #8 to (denver?) for their 1st rounder and additonal picks.

Too lazy to look up trade value but I'm sure Gibbs and company have learned from lessons past.

This seems like better info. (http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=13143) It has him listed as being just over 300 lbs.

This kid is only 19 years old. he could be in the league for 15 years easily. I really like this guy, plus we are gonna get somethin else to trade down and still get our man. We are finally workin all aspects of the offseason instead of tryin to buy all the big names.

I like Okoye a lot, watched L'ville a few times & he definitely wreaked havoc. Seems like a Gibbs guy too. JLC said the staff is very impressed by him. I'd say he's the favorite at this point.

I haven't seen Adam Carriker play, but I like the sounds of him & he sounds like more of an every down player than Adams & Anderson.

okoye is the SAFEST bet on the DL. huge upside, could be highly productive immediately, well-rounded and he's smart, which is ALWAYS a big plus.
