I know this is a lot of moves and maybe I've played too much madden but what if this went down:
say we get the Texans 1st(#8), their 3rd(#73), and 5th(#134) if Quinn is available and they want him that bad.
1600pts = 1668pts as far as trade values go

and then we trade the first round pick to Denver for their 1st rounder(#21),
2nd(#56), and Bly.
1400pts = 1140+Bly who one would guess could be had this offseason for a late 2nd or top 10 3rd rounder

and finally Springs is traded to any team in need of a cb, for their 4th and a conditional pick in next year's draft as Springs probably carries the value of a low 3rd or high 4th at most. maybe we even get lucky and package him in with the Deal with denver for their 3rd, who knows.

that means we'd have slightly younger, more reliable replacement for Springs plus 4 extra picks this year. The team would then have the picks to trade up to be able to get a player like Okoye and still have 2-3 more picks then they started with as well as a smaller cap hit for the player taken.

I think thats feasible if things fall into place for the team for once and who knows maybe we could even get a couple teams to offer even more if say a player like CJ or Peterson falls to our spot.

if we trade past the 8th spot, getting okoye becomes very unlikely.

Why would Denver wanted to trade after we moved down from 6 to 8th? Thier is someone they wanted and he most likey will not be there at 8th. As for Jonhson being thier at six it would be very hard to pass on him!

If Quinn is the type of player people will trade up for I don't see how the Redskins would be in the drivers seat with the 6th pick. It would seem that the Lions or Browns are in a much better position to broker this Quinn deal.

I don't blame them, they were movin up supposedly to land QUINN, who likely won't even be there at #6. He should go no worse than top four. And The Texans have two awesome quarterbacks.....LOL, not only one but two backups — David Carr, Sage Rosenfels

Not sure what the Texans are thinking. Carr hasn't played that bad. It's not like Brady Quinn can come in as a rookie and do any better right away. He's going to need time. I guess the Texans think that they have a top defense of a great o-line. Isn't this the team that drafted M. Wiliams?

I heard some rumors a while back (but haven't heard much lately) that the Browns and Texans had a deal in the works to send Carr to the Browns for a 4th or 5th round pick I think on draft day. There was some condition included involving Quinn. Can't remember what exactly.

You're right...what they SHOULD be doing is getting an O-line. Carr is getting killed in the backfield year after year and STILL manages to put up decent numbers. Quinn could do no better with the same line.

Maybe they're thinking Carr's body won't hold up. Rosenfels played well for them in relief of Carr though.

They do have their priorities mixed up. With Ahman Green along with Carr and Johnson, they have plenty of offensive firepower, but it won't be effective without a line that can keep the defense out of the backfield.

I like the deal for us though if it does happen.
