Never thought I would see Mike Anderson mentioned in the same breath as Davis and Portis!Look at the numbers. Denver's running game was way more effective when led by Anderson then when its been led by Gary, or Droughns, or Tatum Bell.

The only thing bad about this is that it means Cleveland is probaly going to take Peterson instead of him slipping to 6 and giving our pick more trade value. If Quinn doesnt slip im not sure the FO is gonna get as much as they would like for the #6 pick.
Why would Clev take Peterson when they just signed Lewis? I think they are going to take Quinn.

Why would Clev take Peterson when they just signed Lewis? I think they are going to take Quinn.Lewis is on a one year deal. I'm not a huge Peterson fan, but you have to think he gives them a better chance to win than Jamal Lewis.
To clarify, I think passing on Quinn would be a mistake with that QB situation. But I do think that team (because they are the Browns) is still leaning towards Peterson.

I would be very surprised if they dont take Peterson. Not only did jamal get a one year deal but I dont think he is gonna be able to carry the load by himself and there's really no RB's left in free agency that are worth a shit.

Aren't he and Lamont jordan basically the same back?

I think Droughns has the potential to be good with the Giants, especially since he will be sharing the load with Jacobs, and not being an every down back like he was in Cleveland.

Aren't he and Lamont jordan basically the same back?Actually, this is somewhat correct. They both have been solid backs in the past, and both were awful this year. Droughns was even more awful than Jordan was, but this is probably due to a number of luck based factors. They have had very similar career paths.

he stinks but against us he might be tiki light. The giants gave up nothing for him so they wont lose much. Still the gmen might be able to find a decent rb in the draft if they wanted one.
