Wonder if this means the end of the road for Lamont Jordan in Oakland.
I think he was productive considering there offensive line is terrible.
Jordan just reworked his contract at the beginning of the week. I imagine them splitting time like Rhodes did with Addai this past year in Indy.

well, at long as he doesn't want to win, he picked the right place.

Giants fans are really upset that all these free agents they're targeting are signing other places. It's hilarious.

It's OK, they'll still find some way to make their pieces of shit looking like Pro Bowlers when they play us.

If you aren't going to utilize his kick returning ability (as the Colts didn't last year), hes really not worth the money. Guys who run the ball like Rhodes are everywhere. If Oakland has him return kicks, this is a solid signing for them. If they aren't, they would have been better off making Fargas the starter there.
I don't know about that. Rhodes knows the Colts system and always performed when called upon. I doubt you an just throw in any RB and do what Rhodes has done. He's not a great player but he's damn good. In today's NFL you need two guys. But I'm sure they have a plan. Polian knows what he's doing.

I like the way you think, but Oakland already tried that approach. What they got was one of the biggest busts in draft history. I thought they were going to take Roethlisberger at No. 2 in 2004, they took Gallery--and the rest is history. The franchise has been in shambles ever since Gannon tore his labrum in 2003 and it's got something to do with never having a QB more talented than Aaron Brooks on the roster. This team SHOULD have already taken a QB in the first round and just can't ignore the future of that position anymore.
I think Quinn is far superior, but even if they go with Russell, they will be far better off in the long run than by selecting at any other postion; as good as I think Joe Thomas can be.
You think Brady Quinn is superior over Russell? Really???? Not sure if you saw any LSU games or not but I don't think there is a QB in this draft that comes close to this guy's ability. He makes throws that very few guys can maake on the NFL level neverless the college level. His weight concerns me but that's about it.

Didn't everyone say the same thing about Edgerrin James?
Any average running back could wind up looking like a superstar in Indy.
