Wonder if this means the end of the road for Lamont Jordan in Oakland.

I think he was productive considering there offensive line is terrible.

Little Boy Blew. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, he needed the money!

Seriously, to stay on task, this is strikingly similar to when Hutch went to Minnesota. Worked out GREAT for him.

If I'm Oakland, I'm landing a veteran QB, maybe Rattay, taking Joe Thomas with the first overall pick, make some trades and get Grubbs or Blaylock. Just look what the Jets did with shrewd picks on the offensive line last year. Mangold and Ferguson both paid dividends for them.

i think indy might be alot like denver. no matter what running back they use, it works. a system back, if you will

Peyton Manning is a system within himself. You're ALWAYS respecting the pass so many times the back has huge holes to run through.

What they got was one of the biggest busts in draft history. I thought they were going to take Roethlisberger at No. 2 in 2004, they took Gallery--and the rest is history. The franchise has been in shambles ever since Gannon tore his labrum in 2003 and it's got something to do with never having a QB more talented than Aaron Brooks on the roster. This team SHOULD have already taken a QB in the first round and just can't ignore the future of that position anymore.

I think Quinn is far superior, but even if they go with Russell, they will be far better off in the long run than by selecting at any other postion; as good as I think Joe Thomas can be.

Peyton Manning is a system within himself. You're ALWAYS respecting the pass so many times the back has huge holes to run through. And he calls the running plays at the line. With the way he understands offense, its not surprising that they give their talented backs in the best possible chance to succeed as often as they do.

I don't get what the Colts are thinking. How do you let this guy walk?If you aren't going to utilize his kick returning ability (as the Colts didn't last year), hes really not worth the money. Guys who run the ball like Rhodes are everywhere. If Oakland has him return kicks, this is a solid signing for them. If they aren't, they would have been better off making Fargas the starter there.
