Cool new Avatar!!! ... I want it!!! GTripp0012 03-06-2007, 03:30 PM Nope, Cooley's our man for TE pass-catching. We need a blocking-monster for our other TE. How will Yoder do this year in that role?I think Yoder deserves a roster spot but I'd like to have a big body like a Jason Dunn or Reggie Kelly in between Cooley and Yoder on the depth chart. If Yoder was adequate for the role we are trying to fill, Pucillo wouldn't have played as much TE as he did. That Guy 03-06-2007, 07:37 PM word on kelly is there's enough teams interested that his price is going to be higher than we want. Reggie Kelly is going back to Cincy News - Kelly to return - Cincinnati Bengals (http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=5919) Beemnseven 03-06-2007, 09:01 PM Could someone please tell me why all the hu-bub about a blocking TE in this offense? Goal line? Short yardage? I see where you're coming from though -- tight ends in Saunders' offense primarily catch. I guess the feeling is, as long as Gibbs still has his hands in the offense, you'll still see some heavy-jumbo formations. Still, there's plenty to concentrate on with defense alone. I think $1-$2mill per year is probably closer to their range. Aussie_Skins_Fan 03-06-2007, 10:39 PM Goal line? Short yardage? Saunders ran alot of Stretch and Counters in KC when running tho, TE are important for those plays. Dirtbag59 03-06-2007, 11:13 PM Didn't McMichael beat his Girlfriend? Dirtbag59 03-06-2007, 11:14 PM McMichael was arrested on July 9, 2005 in Columbia County, Georgia after witnesses told police he gave his wife a bloody nose. His wife, Cawanna McMichael, told police the contact with her husband was an accident as he was throwing some of her belongings out of their 1984 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. Witnesses told police they saw McMichael throw his wife from the car. One witness told police he saw the athlete throw his wife away from the vehicle several times, according to the report. Cawanna McMichael was treated at the scene. According to the police report, McMichael had two glasses of wine and several beers before arguing with his wife, but he refused to take a field Breathalyzer test. [2] This marked the second domestic incident for McMichael. Prosecutors decided not to file charges after McMichael was arrested in June 2004 and accused of hitting his wife.
