Crazy Lavar Rumor!vaoutlaws2006 03-04-2007, 08:08 AM i am on the screw lavar tip too.....gonna disrespect the coach and the whole organization....lavar knows where he can go. does he need directions? Luxorreb 03-04-2007, 08:12 AM You think he's burned the bridge? I don't see it happening (him coming back to DC), but I'd be in favor of him coming here for vet minimum. Schneed10 03-04-2007, 09:40 AM I don't see it happening at all. That said, for vet minimum, considering where the market is going? I'd take that in a heartbeat. diehardskin2982 03-04-2007, 09:54 AM what is he supposed to sign and immediately retire? Too Young, I doubt it.... Special teams is the only spot he would play, also i remember when he was cut by the Giants Gibbs said we have no interest in him. If I was him I'd go to the Cardinals T.O.Killa 03-04-2007, 10:08 AM I dont think it would ever happen, but his jersey alone probably paid his salary. I still love him, he was treated real bad by Dale Linsay. EternalEnigma21 03-04-2007, 10:09 AM too much of a distraction... we don't need it again and I wouldn't waste a roster spot. we already have players taking up depth that don't need to be here.... gabe1984 03-04-2007, 10:43 AM You know something, I really think we need to look at this from LaVar's point of view. He was the face of this team for his entire tenure in Washington, except for maybe his last year. I feel bad for the guy, I mean, the coaches just came in and booted him, and let freaking WARRICK HOLDMAN play instead of him! I'm sure he was very upset, and I'm sure there are probably a lot of players who would not be able to bite their tongues when they leave a situation like that. Imgaine if you busted your ass for a company for six years, were known as a key guy in the company, then a new boss comes along, and they just fire you. Would you be able to walk away and just bite your tongue? I know for a fact I wouldn't!!!!! If he wants to come in for a low price, I'd really like to have him back. This is unlikely, but he's man, he should be able to sit down like a man and have a talk with Gibbs and Williams and so they can tell him exactly what his role will be on the team. If anything, I believe that most of the players would like to have him back, and he'll bring a swagger to our defense that was missing last year. Can he even walk right now? drew54 03-04-2007, 11:03 AM I would welcome him back as a DE and Vet min. He was playing DE back in 05 when his knee healed up. He might be worth it. I would love to see it. wolfeskins 03-04-2007, 11:06 AM You know something, I really think we need to look at this from LaVar's point of view.
