What are our needs now?

I would rather be trying to find a free agent OG than a free agent DL, CB, or MLB. I think we are in good shape and we have made some realistic pragmatic moves in free agency. We finally replaced Pierce and Smoot. We got CP for Champ. So we have made the proper corrections. We use the draft to get a DE. Golston, Montgomery, and Griffin. Andre Carter, Daniels, and #6 pick. LBs looking good. CBs looking better. Safeties with Prieaulou back looking good. I'm happy. Offense is great. The only thing you are pursuing is a bakup tight end. 6th round pick, or undrafted free agent can get you that.

since we have MLB Fletcher and Apparently Smoot and the #6 pick in this year draft. We need to get the safety from LSU landry, cuz taylor needs someone who can excel with and form an deadly tandem for yeares to come. I dont see drafting an d-lineman as a need cuz when Cornelius Griffin & Joe Salave'a are healthy they pain in the ass for any team. and if u look at d-lineman that were pick in the first day they have not turn out good early as they was expected to. Anyways own front four is deadly when they are heathly so i say go wit a safe and sure pick, tha boy landry is a monster, if anyone feel diff holla at me

the DL are all like, 32 years old. joe was terrible last year and a lot of the coverage issues last year were too to the poor DL pressure and the constant injuries there. wasting such a high pick on a tertiary need when we can get a guy off the street to be okay there would be insane.

landry is great, but he's absolutely not what the skins need right now.

I may be the only one to say this, but I want a veteran receiver as well. I'm not saying break the bank, but snatch one of those guys out there for a 2-3yr 4mil/yr contract or something. If one of our receivers go down, there isn't much else that we have.

I'm curious to how Mike Espy is developing.

I think our priorities are:

1)DL
2)OL
3)CB depth (one more average cb)
4)WR (one more average vet WR)

1. A starting DE or DT via the draft.
2. A replacement for Dock.
3. To keep Springs, or get another bona fide starting corner.
4. Depth at TE and along the OL.

Man. We're screwed. We need at least another day one pick. And without much leverage, we'll have to trade away next year's first rounder to get one. Sigh.

We need to draft Alan Branch or Jamaal Anderson in the first round and trade away next year's first round pick (I know no one likes this idea, I don't either) for a mid to high second rounder and draft a top 5 prospect OL.

Well, there is some talk that the Redskins are interested in Justin Blalock. Now, as I've suggested before I'd like to see them trade their #6 and a conditional 2008 pick to the Texans for the #8 and #39. And draft Okoye/Anderson and Wilson/Houston. However, with that #39 pick they could draft Blalock instead.

I think ultimately what will happen is they'll either try to develop Pucillo or Wade or get someone late in the draft and go under the thinking (however ill-fated it is) that if anyone can find diamond OG in the rough it's Joe Bugel.

It's good that we have Pucillo. He can play C or G. We need another guy who can swing G and T. Wade hasn't re-signed with us. Has he? And it's probably a good thing he didn't fill in too many games for Jansen because he's a great pass blocker. Hopefully teams aren't throwing $18 million signing bonuses at him too.

Wade did a real nice job filling in at OT last year when Jansen was hurt
Lets move him to guard and get younger on the d-line
