A blast from the past Big Daddy will be playing in Denver after Miami traded him today for a 6th round choice in aprils draft. Dose he still have anything left. Denver sees to get more out of other left overs at the end of thier career. I wish we could be more like Denver and get more out of players for much less money and draft picks!

I think you will see improved play from Denver's LBers and DEs. That's what these big tackles do, right? Magically improve everyone around them.

And yet somehow the Redskins FO is the league's laughing stock.
How is it thee Broncos get a pass year in and year out? They spend like crazy, pick up aged players all the time, have more than their share of busts, cut starters all the time, and yet never seem to be called out for it.
(the answer of course is playoff appearances, but they sure as hell go about their player acquisition in a haphazard manner.)

How did they get a draft pick for Big freaking Daddy??

not really. they trade CBs and go out of their way to acquire the best CBs they can get (be it with 3 3rd round picks or trades), and rotate through C-grade D-linemen. this is only the 3rd or 4th year doing that. they'll get more RBs as UDFAs if needed and their LB corp is pretty solid.

I'm surprised people aren't calling for his return. i guess a couple of big time mediocre seasons was enough

Remember a couple of years we got into a bidding war over Courtney Brown with these guys? He ended the season on IR for Denver.

proving once again that sometimes the best move is to not make a move at all.
