I have heard however, from a pretty reliable source, that Dock’s agent’s initial proposal to the Redskins was a $17 million signing bonus. Yes, $17 million. Now clearly (I think) this was just a starting point for further bargaining. But it gives you an idea of Dock and his agent’s (Todd France) ultimate asking price based on their starting point.
