But in the end Turner grew a miraculous backbone so he didn't get the job. They hired Wade Phillips. Then After all the other teams had hired coaches and such the Chargers sh*tcaned Marty and hired, get this, Norv Turner as their headcoach. I am not making that up. Grimm didn't get the job in Pittsburg even though they had offered it to him. The Bears canned their D coordinator so he is in San Diego with Turner and Cotrell. The Bears also seriously jeopardized their coming seasons when they low balled Lovie Smith on an extension and players started telling FAs not to come to the team. Finally the Bears' cheap-asses relented and gave Lovie a fair deal. The Skins cut a few people of little consequence. Fauria, Vincent. Restructured Brunelll and Jansen. What else everyone? I didn't make either of those stories up. In football news, the Colts won the Super Bowl and Sean Taylor decapitated the Bills punter in the Pro Bowl. That is all.
