Lavar has already gotten more than enough money. He's kidding himself, with this whole 6.5 mill thing. I think its his dumb ass agent whose starting this whole thing up. Hope he doesn't affect his play on the field.

I don't think it'll affect his relationship with the team, maybe with his idiot Agent who screwed things up in the first place.

how come agents can screw over players with incompetence and never get fired? It amazes me how much trust is put into some of these guys...

It's a signed legal document so there fore he should have to honor it. of course that runs the chance of sverely lowering the likelyhood of him restructuring it in a couple years.

I remember last February when all the legal experts posting here said that Terrell Owens did not have a prayer of getting his free agency from the 49ers and his agent was a dumbass who should be fired before he was drawn and quartered. I don't remember any apologies from all those legal experts posting here saying that they were the dumbasses who did not know what they were talking about when they made their postings. Unless I've been living in a time warp, TO is now in Philly, no?
Wait until the arbitration hearings are over and the arbitrator makes his decision and then decide if:
a. The Poston Brothers are incompetent boobs who probably can't find their asses with either hand.
b. LaVar is a money-grubber.
c. Danny Boy and company are a bunch of lying weasels.
d. This was a misunderstanding and should have been caught in the negotiation/contract review process but was not.
e. The Postons are incompetent AND LaVar is a money-grubber AND Danny Boy and company are lying weasels.
Here is the dangerous outcome for the Redskins:
IF - notice I said IF because I DON'T KNOW - the arbitrator finds that there was some kind of intentional misrepresentation of the contract by the Redskins to the NFL and the NFLPA, then that misrepresentation MIGHT have resulted in a prior violation of the salary cap last year or during this offseason, and that would call for sanctions against the team as set out in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. That would be a BAD THING because losing high draft picks is one of the possible sanctions. Yes, I said "picks" in the plural!
The fact that the Redskins are allowing this to go to arbitration and not settling it out of that process tells me that they are very confident that even if they lose the arbitration, they will not get hit with sanctions. If they have not considered that part of the equation and they lose, then they are not only lying weasels, they are stupid beyond belief.
If I had to bet I'd say LaVar loses out on this fight. From the sounds of it he has alot to prove to back up his case.
I wish he would have just dropped this and moved on. I'm sure he really feels like he was somehow wronged by the team, but to me this smells of a case of an incompetent agent and a player too dumb to admit to the same.

Two Quick Points.
A.) LaVar will lose out on this , I really dont see where he has a case at all. Its just Poston being a dumbass and not doing his job.
I really dont think this is going to effect the relationship with the team too much, at least not at this point. He seemed to drop the whole situation earlier, and I dont really see it starting up too badly again. They will have their hearing behind closed doors and hopefully everything is worked out. It wouldnt shock me in the least to hear a big no, when we go to do more negotaitions with him in the future. As for the next couple years though, I still think were alright.
