I just asked a nurse I work with and she said foot growth typically stops after the age of 14 for boys. Regardless of how much weight you put on your feet don't continue to grow.

Who was that, Nurse Betty? No, but I used to sell shoes, and I've measured many a feet. And I've seen guys come in with a 10.5 and leave with an 11.5.

There's some info out there, I just don't have it at my finger tips.

You're right, I should take the word of a shoe salesman vs. a RN.

Almost sounds like a punchline to a joke. Seriously though, if someone's feet are still growing in their 30s and 40s, they probably have something wrong with them.

Perhaps the people that thought they needed a 10.5 were just wearing the wrong size, or perhaps different brand sizes are slightly different?

I know that I can get away with a 12.5 in some shoes, but most of them time I need 13.

Look at what else grew on him:

SI.com - Writers - Tom Verducci: New Shadows chapter details Bonds' freakish growth - Tuesday February 27, 2007 12:13PM (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/tom_verducci/02/27/shadows.afterword/?cnn=yes)

from size 42 to a size 52 jersey; from size 10 1/2 to size 13 cleats; and from a size 7 1/8 to size 7 1/4 cap, even though he had taken to shaving his head.

Yes, 10.5 is too small.

One question, if Bonds wasn't having any beef-jerky-kool-aid, would it be possible for him increase his mass and thus outgrow his cloths to the same degree?

Im not sure about the whole feet thing. But I went to a museum in Pittsburg that had an old Bonds Pirates jersey in a display case. It was so small that I don’t think I could have worn it in Jr. High. So of course I think Bonds is juicing. There just no way you grow that much just with age. It's not like where talking about his waist line.

I actually lost 2 to 2 1/2 shoe sizes from total foot reconstruction surgeries on both feet (glad I had both done or it would be tough to buy shoes!).

But GROWING that much in your 30s to age 40 is just insane. It's obviously not natural and caused by a chemical of some type.

Is it possible that the measure for the shoe sizes has changed at all over that time? What I mean is, could it be possible that what was once considered a size 10 is now closer to a size 12? I know it's probably supposed to be a representation of inches but I know I have to wear size 12 Pumas and size 11 New Balances.

BTW, I totally think Barry has been juicing since the late '90s.

I gotcha'.
Like maybe, he got his first cleats in England and it was some sort of Imperial measurement, rather than traditional sizing used in America?
