Rumor: Strahan Wants To Be A Redskin

The Redskins aren't in a position to make a trade. This makes no sense.

Why do people still believe anything that rag (PFT) says?

I wish I could find the link, but this rumor is actually a couple of months old. Someone, I think from the NY Post, said after the season was done something to the extent of "How will Strahan afford to pay his ex the $15 million she won in the divorce settlement? Well, I'm sure Dan Snyder wouldn't mind paying him"

yeah I thought it sounded familiar, at first I thought this was an old thread someone dug up.

A rumor not even worth discussing if you ask me.

I think most of the league assumes that template exists.

Doesn't make it accurate, but it goes far beyond what PFT says.

I'm guessing that their report of "Strahan wants to be a Redskin" is accurate, but I'm also guessing that the Redskins don't want Strahan. Thus, no deal will be made.

Peter King mentions a rumor on PFT saying that Daniel Graham will be a Redskin.....

King is saying that the Skins will pay Fletcher a lot, but he doesn't say that we're going to tryt to get Graham. It's two different sentences.

I think you need to reread. He says that London Fletcher will be a Redskin, not D Graham.

$6M a year for Fletcher?

C'mon, he can't mean his base salary will be $6M right off the bat... we just don't structure deals like that. Maybe he means the entire deal with bonus will work out to $6M per?

You're right. My bad. I thought he meant that all 3 players were getting big paydays from the Skins.

Graham is an interesting name to note though... not sure we could afford that kind of price on a blocking TE though.
