what would make you think that? jacobs is a straight ahead, short yardage runner. no more, no lessSo? He's powerful. He'll probably make the pro-bowl next year. Gore's style is straight ahead, Larry Johnson's style is straight ahead, Michael Turner's style is staright ahead. People seem to think highly of them.

marion barber is a much more complete back than brandon jacobs. turner is better, mcgahee is better.I like Barber as well. Julius Jones should not be the tsrter.

those guys all have moves, and speed. jacobs has neither. decent speed, not breakaway, and no moves. the guy will not average over 4 per carry if he is the featured back

Not going to happen BJ is the starter ,the Giants need D and in a BIG way the'll pick up a backup for Brandon in the later rounds ,they need LBers BIG TIME ones!:)

If Jacobs is so special why are there some many rumors about the Giants looking for another back? Just the media jumping to conclusions?

All three who made it deserved it, but Westbrook should have been the starter, IMO.
