San Fran will still get a good defensive player at 11. Silly to give up everything they'd have to give up to get the 6th pick. Unfortunately, we don't have Joe Gibbs to trade down with.

SmootSmack 03-02-2007, 01:32 AM That's a great sig Sheriff, ha! I wonder why they were unimpressed by Adams. 724Skinsfan 03-02-2007, 01:35 AM I'm thinking it must be something that came up in an interview or brief conversation. Wasn't there talk of him not being very confident in himself? People at the Senior Bowl said that he didn't appear confident. I didn't hear anything about how he appeared at the Combine. The only other knock(s) that I can think of are: (1) that he didn't participate in the bench press; (2) his interview didn't go well; and/or (3) they didn't think that he would fit well in our 4-3 alignment. I say that those could be the only knocks because, by all accounts, he performed exceeding well in the 40, the shuttle, and cone drills and generally appeared quick and agile in drills. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 03-02-2007, 02:11 AM That's a great sig Sheriff, ha! A little dated, but I think it's still funny. offiss 03-02-2007, 06:08 AM Adams is not a good fit for us we need a strong side end who can rush the QB, from what I have heard Anderson makes the most sense, we can't go into the season with 2 DE's who can't hold the line of attack, he may be a better pass rusher than Carter but do we give up on Carter for another undersized end? I can't see Carter being able to play the strong side teams will run right over him, well they already do that but we don't need that on both ends. I have a strong feeling if we don't trade down it will be Anderson hands down. I just don't feel Branch dominated in college like a player of his size should have, Branch has all the measurables but IMO he doesn't have the body of work to back it up, couple that with the whispers that he's a little lazy? No thanks, I am not taking a chance on the possibility of the second coming of big daddy with the 6th pick! andtz0 03-03-2007, 01:27 AM nice ^ |
