Never Happen! NOT ON ANY JOE GIBBS FOOTBALL TEAM, PERIOD

If the price is reasonable, e.g. 3rd rnd. pick, I think we'd at least think about it, not that vinny & Danny are reasonable!
I agree that he's not a "Gibbs guy" as someone posted, so ultimately I don't see it happening. Just keep in mind though that Gibbs wants to win badly & is running out of time. Gibbs might also feel that he could sit him down & tell him what's expected of him, maybe even making a deal contingent upon him adding incentives to his contract. Ordinarily that sounds out of the question, but this guy's name is dirt right now & nfl teams are becoming weary of problem players.
I actually wanted us to draft Pacman in 05 but he was gone by our pick. He's a great player that is just starting to come into his own. Unfortunately he may lack discipline AND enough brains to keep out of the headlines.
In his defense, I've never read anything about him being a bad teamate a la TO. Anyone have any info in that regard?

I wouldn't take him if the Titans gave US a third rounder.

Here's another reason why "character matters"...

I love it when people say that character doesn't count....listen up Marvin Lewis disciples.

I wouldn't trade Archuleta for him.

A friend of mine is in Indy covering the Combine. It's his job. :cool-smil

I just talked to him on the phone and he said that Pacman Jones is definitely avalailable and the price to get him is dropping like a rock.

He said that the Giants were offered Jones earlier today (and Lord knows the Giants need help in the secondary) for a 2nd round pick this year and a third next year. The Giants said no. :nono:

Later, he said, after other teams had passed on any similar deals for Jones, the Giants were offered Jones for a 3rd round pick this year and a "conditional fifth" next year. The Giants still said no. :nono: :nono:

Pacman was a high pick in the first round not all that long ago. Talk about plummeting value... :Flush:

Demonstrates just how much the Giants value their draft picks. Be nice for us to take note.

If we could get him for something very cheap, I'd be interested. He'd be forced into signing a contract that would be very Redskin friendly. If he ****s up, he's gone within the hour and the skins take a minimal/no cap hit.

The only problem there is that we're giving up a potential roster space for someone like say Dre Bly, for a ticking time bomb.

Wow!that's saying a lot
I'd be willing to take that deal in a heartbeat, but for that matter I think about anything would could get for AA might be a bonus at this point.

I get your point though, this dude isn't worth the trouble. Can't argue w/that, but a part of me wants him to make a turnaround & if it is w/the skins we'd get the sweet end of the deal.
Don't be surprised to see JJ call on him to come to dallas.
Also hate to say it, but it occurred to me this week that Springs might be interested in dallas too since his dad played there. It doesn't sound good for us restructuring w/him, maybe that's why I'm a little more interested in this Pacman thread.
