I think you're taking it too personally. If anyone here had started that thread Gmanc or any other mod would have locked it just the same. To keep the board free of duplicate threads.

Personally, I've found that adjusting my settings so that the most recent post is listed first helps.

I don't care that it got locked.I am just saying for other people that might not know about it.Put something in the title. It was just a suggestion i think you think i am taking it personal.I was just trying to help out, your taking it the wrong way.

Got that right, it's nice we are able to sign an ageing LB in big time London Fletcher. FLETCHER, Are D-troubles have been answered. So much for McCune.

I think this is a great fit for our team. London is a great linebacker who knows this defense really well. I would assume that bringing him in would make our linebacker core a strong point of this team. He is a guy who can make all the right calls at the line before the play starts and is a real leader of defenses. Could be a great move. He has the potential to be a PRO bowler in the NFC.

my internet is hosed...so I can't tell if this is in the other thread...but Peter King said he thought the Skins were going to pay Fletcher 6mil a year...I'm going to be sick.

I think that's a reasonable estimate given the record amount of cap space and the lack of quality free agents. I don't care what his overall compensation is, I care how the deal is structured and, more importantly, how much bonus money he'll get.

Yeah it is in some other thread. But anyway, $6 mil/year can be interpreted so many ways. It could mean a heavily backloaded contract-the last year of which Fletch (6'5"...6'9" with the afro) will never see. Yet the total inclusive contract averages out to $6 million/year

Regardless if 6m is a good number or not. As SGG says, the contract numbers should be TOTALLY shocking this year because of the the new salary cap ceiling and the extra $$$ teams will have. This is not a secret to the players and agents
