I wasn't even that impressed with Wright as the nickel.
Wright and Holdman Reportedly On Their Way OutMTK 02-23-2007, 11:13 AM I wasn't even that impressed with Wright as the nickel. diehardskin2982 02-23-2007, 11:39 AM good ridance these 2 guys where major problems on our defense. I am glad to see we are actually cleaning house. Just Sign DOCK! Skins_4_Lyfe 02-23-2007, 11:40 AM Wright was allwright!!!:) diehardskin2982 02-23-2007, 12:06 PM Wright was allwright!!!:) was he better than the guy he replaced? NO!! therefore he was a downgrade MonkFan4Life 02-23-2007, 12:34 PM good ridance these 2 guys where major problems on our defense. I am glad to see we are actually cleaning house. Just Sign DOCK! That may be what they are trying to do. Free up enough space to make early runs at Fletcher and Clements but also to keep Dockery if the price gets high. Or maybe I'm just hoping for the best firstdown 02-23-2007, 12:41 PM So my Wright and Holdman jersey are now useless???? That sucks!!! That does suck, my friends, Friends mom gave him a Coles jersey for his birthday. We looked at it and just laughed. theJBexperience 02-23-2007, 12:57 PM Not a chance. Kenny Wright was just terrible this year and was a liability every time he stepped on the field. Walt Harris was a good player for the Skins...not Pro Bowl caliber, but he didn't make mistakes. Aside from constantly getting run over and not making tackles. Defensewins 02-23-2007, 01:10 PM No big surprise here. A note on Rocky, I've heard that Lindsey may have been responsible for keeping him off the field last year. Look for him to play a much bigger role this year. Lemar Marshall playing at his natural position of OLB will be a big boost. After a year of toughing it out playing against 300+ pound centers and guards at MLB he will find OLB much easier going against TE's. Lemar may bounce back strong and have a great year. London Fletcher at MLB, Washington a SLB and Lemar at WLB on obvious run plays will a strong lineup. Plus add Alan Branch to the mix at DT and stopping the run should be no problem. Bring Rocky off the bench then? Wright wasn't great but letting him go doesn't help (along with Vincent) doesn't help our depth issues in the secondary. |
