Troy Vincent Released

Releasing him saves us $1.3 million in 2007. That's not an insignificant amount of space, so unless he was making a decent impact for us, releasing him makes sense.

Prioleau can do everything Vincent did for us last year, and more.

Thank you Troy for that incredible block against the Cowboys, that will always be one of my favorite Redskins memories, but I think we all seen this cut coming. Good luck in the future Troy.

The way he talked to the media about the team and just how he presented himself showed that he was a good team mate. He may have only had one big play but I think he brought a positive attitude which I hope rubbed off on our younger players.

Reported on ESPN today, Troy asked to be let go. At his age he's looking for more time on the field..... BYE!

He's a classy guy on and off the field. I wish him the best. I only wish we had him about 5-6 years ago.
