Colts put francise tag on Freeny

Just heard it on ESPN, sorry if this is old news, but it is good news for me.

That way we dont burn tons of money in free agency....

I don't really think we had Freeney on our radar, but in any case this is pretty good news because he will be staying in the AFC, and if by some chance our front office was looking at him they won't be tempted to throw millions his way.

well, it may only be official now, but polian said he'd tag freeney as far back as two years ago, so it's really not a surprise or unexpected.
