Maybe he'll be in rehab with Britney, for about 30 minutes, and shave his head
Irvin no longer with ESPNHog1 02-19-2007, 11:51 AM Maybe he'll be in rehab with Britney, for about 30 minutes, and shave his head oldhog44 02-19-2007, 12:07 PM Anyone who says they liked Irvin in any way needs to move on to a Cowboy website and chat with them. (they find a pipe in his car and he says he took it up from a friend) come on!!! Plus him before Art Monk is a shamable insult. Yall probably were silver and blue panties under your bugandy and gold! hooskins 02-19-2007, 04:55 PM I was in Daytona the past few days so no, not really. I do know that his contract was up and they were looking to make some changes. I'll ask the NFL guys on Tuesday when I go back to work. Thanks. ncskinsfanec 02-19-2007, 05:53 PM Irvin was a worse hire than Rush Limbaugh. I'm glad that poor excuse for a human being has been fired. Good riddance! skinsfan69 02-19-2007, 06:14 PM I am not surprised at all. This is pure speculation on my part, but did anyone see Irvin on the remote set in Miami during Superbowl week. His speech was faster than usual, his mood was elevated (more than usual), he was more intrusive than usual, cutting off others who were talking, and he looked like someone who was coked up. I remember thinking that he looked high at the time. I think that is why he was not re-signed. Of course, this is my own opinion. Of course he was coked up. He's back in Miami during SB week??????????????? I bet he and many other players got loose all week long. This is what's wrong with many fan sites today. Just because someone is a Cowboy you hate them. While I hate the Cowboys as an organization, and when you put that uniform on you're most likely my sworn enemy, that doesn't mean you can't look at things objectively. First of all, I believe there are announcers that are much worse for Irvin. Thank god not everyone interviews like Joe "Tells ya nothing" Gibbs. You need guys like this to make interviews interesting. He brings a players perspective to the game, which I like. Love him or hate him, there's no denying that Irvin was a good player. If you can't see that, you're blind. If I remember correctly, Irvin said if anyone should be in the Hall of Fame before him it's Art Monk. It's just stupid to blame a player for being voted into the hall of fame. He doesn't cast a vote. wolfeskins 02-19-2007, 07:01 PM I liked Irvin primarily because he was different, and he was real. He was always appeared to be enjoying himself, laughing and slapping around with the guys. . dude..............he was always coked up. all he ever did was laugh real loud and spout off at the mouth real loud. every person who listened to him is more stupid for having done so, i award him no points and may god have mercy on his soul. JGisLordOfTheRings 02-19-2007, 07:12 PM dude..............he was always coked up. all he ever did was laugh real loud and spout off at the mouth real loud. every person who listened to him is more stupid for having done so, i award him no points and may god have mercy on his soul. AMEN! **** "White Lines" Irvin...what a dick off.....I cant really STAND any cowboy in a commentary booth but, IRVIN SUCKED! Aikman is cool though. He's probably the best color commentator around at this point, next to Sam Huff and Jurgensen on Redskin Radio of course! lolol skinsfan69 02-19-2007, 07:36 PM dude..............he was always coked up. all he ever did was laugh real loud and spout off at the mouth real loud. every person who listened to him is more stupid for having done so, i award him no points and may god have mercy on his soul. Your comments really make no sense. I have been a Redskin fan since the George Allen days. I really enjoyed Irvin and he was one of the main reasons I tuned into the ESPN shows. He's funny as hell and you need a guy who mixes things up a bit. You need a guy who is funny and says off the wall crap. I like Jaws and he played for the Eagles and I hate the Eagles more than the Cowboys. SmootSmack 02-19-2007, 07:44 PM Irvin's biggest strength was his likeability with other players allowing him access to locker rooms and interviews that others may not have gotten. |
