What a joke. Mike Shula is a bum. His last name is the only thing that allows him to eat.
I like Marty, but A.J. Smith did the right thing. At some point, general managers have to step up and say 'enough' to this type of crap.
It's a trend that one day will stop once teams begin to realize that great coaching usually isn't genetic.

thats pretty pathetic, one would think that you would be embarrassed to try and hire your brother or son and try to pass him off as a good coach
Well, Kurt Schottenheimer did coach our D back in 2001 to an 8th overall ranking.

Uh, folks don't forget that until only VERY recently there were TWO coaches named Gibbs who were "father and son related" on the Skins staff... :(
What was that someone said about recognizing that coaching talent might not be genetically passed along from one generation to the next?
On the other hand, if a good coach in one generation produces a bad coach in the next generation, maybe the opposite is also true. If so, where do you sign up Richie Kotite's kid to be a head coach??? :)
