big friggin deal, the broncos entire defense was much better than the skins last year. that doesn't change the fact that the broncos are now getting rid of those former browns. i would call that whole situation a bad front office move by the broncos, they should have never went after them in the first place.

I'll take that bad front office move by the Broncos all day long over the cluster-f*cks this group of clowns gives us.

since gibbs has been back they've really only had two bad signings,Lloyed and AA. truthfully though, both of those signings could turn out to be good signings. they both could possibly return next season and they both could possibly have good seasons for the skins.

in years past, i would totally agree with you about snyder bringing in a bunch of "cluster ****s" but lately it hasn't been so bad. the skins off season moves are just so scrutinized and under the microscope because of snyder's first couple of years on the job.

I know this point has been made many times before but I'm going to make it again. The problem is not with players like AA and Lloyd per say, but rather, with the lack of depth eschewing the draft leaves us with. Hence, when a player like Springs goes down, we have no body left to replace him. This is where third, fourth, and fifth round picks become important, guys whose careers are on the bubble, who are hungry, and trying desperately to make the case that they are NFL caliber players. We went into last season as a team not built to sustain any injuries to any key positions, and we saw how that worked out.

I hear what you're saying, but Lloyd cost us a third and a fourth. So he and Archuleta are exactly the problem you're speaking of.

There are monumental problems that mark this front office in every aspect -- retention of current "core" players, woeful miscalculations of free agents, the forfeiture of draft picks for said free agents, and the tendency for lackluster selections from the draft picks they do have.

I wish it were just one small adjustment in their personnel philosophy, but it's on much more of a grand scale than that.

Well that's what I meant. The problem is with us mortgaging draft picks, not signing players.
